Sequence of the Week – Gorkin Backside Blow Tail

This week’s sequence is of …Lost team rider Aaron “Gorkin” Cormican throwing a mean fins free hack somewhere in New Smyrna during hurricane Bill in August of 2009. Note Gorkin’s projection and speed as he heads up into the face of the wave, using it to help float his tail and fins out above the lip and rotate his body around, while keeping his shoulders square to the board for stability and a clean ride away.

It also helps that Gorkin has superhuman frog like feet that stick to anything he puts them on… Especially surfboards!
