SUN DIEGO SURFRIDER BEACH CLEAN UP
For all those who could get up early on the 5th....
“The Morning After Mess” San Diego beach clean up went down this morning (July 5th) at 5 San Diego beaches that were heavily populated on the 4th of July. In Oceanside there was a total of 77 participants who picked up a total of 225 lbs of trash left by the crowds that flocked to the San Diego beaches on Independence Day. The cleanups took place at Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, Ponto Beach, and Oceanside South Jetty.

Surfers aren't the only ones effected by people trashing the beach.
With 77 participants and 225 lbs of trash picked up, it was a successful day.
