SURF SHOP CHALLENGE

5/8/14: The Oakley Surf Shop Challenge “West” took place last week at really fun Lowers. Each surf shop in the region had two pros and two employees in a tag team format. The winning team received a trip to Central America for the National Championship held later this year. Chris Ward and Mason Ho competed alongside Randy Gilkerson and Shaw Kobayashi for team Catalyst. Other …Lost and …Lost surfboard riders in the event included Jeremy Carter (Jacks), Theo Lewitt (ZJ Boarding House), Daniel Shea (Surfside Sports), Andre Anorga (ET Surf), Nate Yeomans (Killer Dana) and Griffin Colapinto (Jacks). Even Biolos got into the act in the “Owners” division. Mason and Ward’s team came close but short due to an interference call. They ended up finishing 3rd behind HSS and the winners Val Surf. Complete results way down below all the pictures.
