lost energy...Lost Energy Drink

From the garages of San Clemente in Southern California, where you can surf, skate and snowboard in the same day came ...Lost Enterprises. Lost grew into a super mega multi-conglomerate corporation and in our pathological obsession of global domination we decided to formulate a drink to hypnotize the minds of the masses.... Actually, that's not true.

If you're gonna surf, skate and snowboard all in the same day, you'll need some energy to go out and party afterwards. Most energy drinks suck, so we had the crew at MONSTER ENERGY make us one that actually works, tastes good and mixes even better.

...Lost Energy Drink, a bad influence from ...Lost Enterprises.

…Lost Perfect 10

…Lost Enterprises’ pathological obsession for global domination is nearly complete. So not wanting to miss any fads or trends, we asked the crew at MONSTER ENERGY to make us a low-cal drink that doesn’t taste like all the other diet crap out there. Introducing …Lost Perfect 10.

It actually works, tastes, and mixes as good as the original, but with only 10 calories. Why not zero calories you ask? Because calories taste good. Now after you surf skate, and snowboard or whatever all day, you can get the energy you need to party all night with just 10 calories.

…Lost Perfect 10, another bad influence from …Lost Enterprises.

Now you'll get all the energy you need with all the goodness of juice.

...Lost Five-O, finally a positive influence from ...Lost Enterprises.

lost cadillaa

...Lost Caddillac

About 100 miles south of Tijuana “real Mexico” begins: pristine beaches, fish tacos, chicas and little cantinas where the tequila and cerveza flow like water. On our last trip down, burnt out from an all day surf session, we decided to mix some imported (smuggled) …Lost Energy Drink with everything they had in the local cantina. Sometime just before dawn…

…LOST CADILLAC WAS BORN.

Now you can re-live our experience without the hangover, dusty roads and shake downs ...Lost Cadillac, as close as you can get without the alcohol (feel free to add your own) or the hassle. TASTES GREAT, MIXES BETTER!

Ox wishes he was a pro surfer!

Toyota Surfercross 2010 presented by Muscle Milk did not disappoint! The Surfercross is always a fun event, pairing together athletes from two completely different sports of surfing and motocross. I don’t think either sport really helps to train for the other, and when you get these guys together it is very apparent! This is how it works–pro surfer draws a random pro moto rider’s name out of a hat and that is their partner for the next 2 days of debauchery!

Words by Jeff “OX” Kargola

Day 1 went down at Starwest for the motocross portion of the event, which is comprised of 2 motos. In moto 1 the professional moto riders start and complete one lap, then they have to find their pro surf partner on the track and hand off a wristband for the surfer to ride 1 lap around the track…over and over…and that’s how it goes down. 1 lap for moto guy and 1 lap for surf guy until all laps are completed. Same scenario for 2nd moto but with the pro surf guys taking the start gate…which was COMEDY!!! Some of the teams included Josh Grant/Sunny Garcia, Ronnie Faisst/Nathan Fletcher, Ox/Kealii Mamalla, JCR Honda’s Johnny Campbell, Eric Siraten, Kendall Norman. Trigger Gumm/ ummmm can’t seem to remember that one haha. Day one was great, Wahoos hooked up the grinds and everyone made it out relatively unscathed. The score keeping was slightly suspect and we all enjoyed Cameron Steele making fun of just about everyone on the Mic.

Day 2 of Surfercross took us to my very own backyard in San Clemente! Trail 6 in San Clemente hosted the surf contest portion which was more comedy! The weather was beautiful, water was warm, Wahoos and Muscle Milk kept our bellies full and, yet again, Cameron Steele was on the mic making fun of everyone! Only problem with the surf was that it never really made an appearance, which I’m pretty sure the moto guys didn’t have a problem with. Some of the funniest surfing attempts had to have been the ones made by JGR’s Josh Grant! He decided to ride my partner Kealii’s stand up paddle board minus the paddle and took some good diggers! But with a little help from his world champ partner Sunny Garcia he soon found his zone and got a few waves under his belt. One of the biggest surprises to me had to be the skill that Jersey Shore himself Ronnie Faisst had! This guy actually knows how to surf! After the first round of heats, Faisst actually had the highest score of all the pro motocross riders which was a shocker ’cause, well, I figured I had a couple good ones. The waves really weren’t cooperating but everyone was still glad to be at the beach. Little did they all know, that very same day less than a mile down the beach there was footage taken of 2 great white sharks swimming in the surf! Check out the video below…it’s crazy! Ya, I bet they still don’t know they were literally on the menu!

With the contest wrapped it was the team of Josh Grant/Sunny Garcia taking the overall win! I took 3rd in Pro Surf and 4th overall. I really don’t care about the other results so good luck with knowing what they were. I know one thing though, next year when it comes time for X Games and the US Open of surf in Huntington Beach, I’ll have a giant smile on my face knowing that its time for more SURFERCROSS!!!!!!!! Thanks J Bone, you made it happen yet again!

…LOST at the U.S. Open

The 2010 U.S. Open of Surfing has officially wrapped up in Huntington Beach California. Brett Simpson took out Jordy Smith in the open Men’s to take the win for a second year in a row, and another $100,000 check to hang over the fireplace. Carrissa Moore took down Sally Fitzgibbons to take the open Women’s, while Evan Geiselman beat out Alejo Muniz, Miguel Pupo, and Kolohe Andino for the Pro Jr’s first place spot. Sage Erikson took first in the women’s Pro Jr. beating out Malia Manuel, Coco Ho, and Laura Enever.

The …Lost crew had their hands full holding it down in the …Lost zone during the US Open. Our booth was packed everyday with some amazingly nice looking girls who wanted to get stenciled and meet the various team riders hanging out throughout the event. Over all we sprayed about 100,000 logos on kids, girls, bros, moms, dogs, skateboards, and anything else anyone brought us. We were hooking up the crowd with free …Lost surfboard hats, key chains, and we had our grand prize giveaways of 2 brand new …Lost surfskates! Jeff OX Kargola X-Games Video

Check out these insane clips of …LOST team rider Jeff OX Kargola competing in the 2010 X-Games 16 in the Freestyle Moto-X and The Moto-X step up. In The Freestyle Moto-X, Ox just destroyed it, but missed the cut by two. Deegan  dropped out of the step up, which opened the door for OX being 1st alternate on the list.
The step up finals, Ox was clearing the bar by a lot! Maybe too much, because he crashed twice in a row after clearing the bar. Unfortunately, if you crash even when you clear the bar it doesn’t count, so Ox was out.

…Lost U.S. Open of Surfing Party

Thanks to everyone who made it out to Gallaghers Pub in Downtown Huntington Beach for the …Lost U.S.Open of Surfing party Wednesday night. The place was packed and the Pyramid pitchers were flowing while the Red Devil Squadron tore up the stage and amped up the crowd! Tons of San Clemente locals made it out to hang with the HB boys for a night of drinking, rock n’ roll, and good times in Downtown.

Unfourtunately the HB Police deceided that the …Lost US Open Bikini Contest was to much of a riot risk and interfered with new downtown regulations… so the man shut us down! The poor bikini girls were crushed to learn they weren’t going to get a chance to strut their stuff due to Johnny Law. Better luck next year though and maybe by then the rules will change again and allow us to have some more fun.

Thanks to Andrew at Gallaghers for letting the crew get wild, 17th St. Surf Shop, Pyramid Breweries for hooking it up, and Red Devil Squadron for rocking the house! See you at mext year’s …Lost US Open party!

3rd ANNUAL PUNK ROCK PICNIC

The 3rd annual PUNK ROCK PICNIC blew up this past Saturday in Hidden Valley park at Verizon Amphitheatre! There were over 35 punk bands from all over the Southern California area tearing up the 3 stages placed around the gigantic event area. The masses descended on the park early in the morning, with some even spending the night there the day before! The grass was filled with everyone from the mowhaked youth, to hippy punks, to old school “I saw them when” guys. There was a whole new generation of kids as most parents brought their groms to their very first punk show.

The mini pipe was set up in perfect view of the main stage so that …Lost team manager and two time Ultimate Boarder gold medalist Chad Shetler wouldn’t miss any of the bands as he, Dave Ruel, Duane Peters, and others took turns shredding the ramp to the live soundtrack coming from bands like Youth Brigade, Naked Aggression, DMF, The Dickies, and D.I. They even had the heckler couch set up in front of it so that the boys could take second to relax and cheer on the others as the took their runs.

…Lost artist Theresa Lavelle had an exhibition at the event as well doing a one of a kind painting on the hood of a old Jaguar, complete with working headlights! The …Lost booth was in the middle of the action along with over 20 other vendors that came out to support this grassroots event and support the Southern California Punk scene, and for the real cause of the event, to help spread and raise awareness for the Autistic childrens foundation.

There were live FMX demos throughout the day as the bands got the crowd frothing and pitting to the some of the old school punk rock tunes. The event culminated late in the evening at the Supersuckers took the main stage and rocked the park until the end. The day turned out to be an amazing event for the over 2000 people who came out to enjoy a day of Punk Rock and action sports in the middle of Orange County! Special thanks to Scott Litwak for inviting …Lost to be part of the event, and to Dave Ruel for use of his mini ramp. Check out the video below and pictures in the Punk Rock Picnic Photo Gallery.

Special thanks to Gunther Estrada for the pics!
