Quite possibly the best surfer ever at Sunset Beach. Finalist in the 1997 Pipe Masters at age 40 something. Invitee to the Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational for the last 20 years, including 2004/2005. One of only three people on the invite list to actually know and surf with Eddie Aikau. Don't even bother clicking on the NEWS section for him... every article in our website that contains the letter H-O in succession is listed. (HOtel, HOrse, wHOre, Eddie HOrton, HOstel, HOpper, HOmepage...etc etc etc)
Pretty much won every major North Shore event you can. The Duke, Pipe Masters, Sunset(too many times to count), and countless others.
And he's still ready for the upcoming hawaiian season and with a quiver of roundtail quads- watch for Pops to be ripping wherever he surfs.
